Sewn Horizon- a virtual gallery show

Adversity births innovation. In lieu of a brick and mortar gallery show, galleries are shut down or very much slowed down, I’m launching a virtual gallery show of my newest work. I hope you enjoy. If you do, please tell your friends. Spread the word. A virtual show doesn’t get traffic off the street, but with your help people unfamiliar with my work can discover it just the same.

These pieces bring together three of my favorite things. Landscape, asemic writing, and mixed media. I find much inspiration in the landscape of Vermont where I live. I find the horizon line an always changing beauty. Asemic writing (a developing genre) I think of as a form of writing that is understood intuitively. Mixed media, the use of a variety of media in a piece, allows me to bring texture, line and mark, to pieces, literally stitch together the elements.
